The Inn at Cooperstown offers a charming and centrally located stay in the heart of Cooperstown, known for its convenient proximity to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Main Street attractions. Guests consistently praise the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and historic ambiance, while noting some room size limitations.
Great little Inn! Historic building but the bathrooms are cleaner than many modern hotels. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Definitely part of the charm of staying in Cooperstown.
Rooms are beautiful, clean and quaint. A little small, but I think that's the norm for all the B&B's in the area. Breakfast was excellent, service overall was very accommodating. Location was ideal; walking distance from everything, including the Baseball HOF. A nice variety of local cuisine, too!
Short walk to BB HOF and town center. Quiet, clean comfortable rooms. Great breakfast that will last thru the day. Fresh fruit, yogurt, baked muffins, quiche, coffee/tea/juice. Parking in back. Go sit in a chair on the porch and relax.?
If one is visiting Cooperstown and one wants to pay the $xxx's for an in-town location, this property defines hospitality and convenience. Yes, a perfect location between the lake and downtown -- easy walk to almost everywhere in this perfect village. Staff couldn't have been nicer and went out of our way to make us as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was very nice as well. Unfortunately, the rooms are NOT ideal for highly-disabled individuals confined to scooters . . . as with older hotels and even homes, the rooms are large and cramped at the same time . . . as retrofitting requires compromise. But the shower, Wifi, electricity worked really well. I would stay here again, but not with the same traveling companion.
Wonderful hospitality from everyone at this place, from Brian at the desk to the folks who served up freshly baked muffins at the free breakfast, held in the Inn’s sunny dining rooms. Tha blueberry corn muffins are not to be missed! A centrally located, great place to stay if you’re visiting the Hall of Fame. Beds were very comfortable. We will be back.
Our visit to Cooperstown was better than we expected. We stayed three nights at The Inn at Cooperstown because of its convenient location to the BHOF and the shops that line Main Street. What we didn't expect was how much the Inn at Cooperstown would become one of the major highlights of our trip. We travelled with my older parents and stayed in the Luxury Suite. It was worth every bit of the cost. This suite provided convenience of first floor accessibility for my parents and upstairs space for me and my partner to enjoy our own time. The unit is private, yet it's super easy to enjoy the inn's dining room and lounge. Hanging out on the front porch was wonderfully relaxing and fun too. We enjoyed meeting other guests and watching people as they walked on by. The building has been renovated with great care to preserve original detail. It is an exquisite treat if you enjoy fine interior details of carpentry work that is hard to find in new construction. If you visit and are lucky enough to cross paths with Mark at the front desk, do take time to listen to his interesting explanation of the Inn's history. He is very knowledgeable about the Inn's history - both the building and past residents. For our family, The Inn at Cooperstown became a destination all on its own for us to enjoy. I highly recommend you stay here the next time you plan on visiting Cooperstown, I know we definitely will.
Very nice B& B. Great staff. Very clean. Plenty of free parking. Small room, bathroom, & shower but adequate size and extremely clean. Good air conditioning - heating system that you can control yourself. Great breakfast. Free Coffee & tea available all day. Quiet location. Very short walk on sidewalks to restaurants, shops and The Baseball Hall of Fame. I would definitely recommend. I plan on returning here in the future.
Your typical bnb. Room was comfortable but on third floor and no elevators. Our room had a shower. Breakfast was fairly good with fairly good selection of food. Service was above average. Lots of history to the place which they readily share. At on end of the main st in town. Walking distance to a Shops, restaurants and baseball hall of fame at other end of town but waalkable. One really nice feature is that even if you check out that day, you can still park at the inn's parking lot while you check out attractions. They have a big parking lot. Not great for handicapped as it is an old building with no elevators as i previouly mentioned. I would stay again.
Very pleasant stay. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The Inn was very clean and comfortable, and looked as though it had been recently up-dated
The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The location is perfect. We didn’t need to drive anywhere. Good restaurants in the area. The only thing I can say is I didn’t feel like the room we got was similar to what’s listed on the website. I realize the best rooms will be featured. It was tight with only room for one chair. The shower was very small with little room to even turn around. Overall we were satisfied with our stay
