Rustic cabins with the minimum but definitely what you need. A great price for an awesome location. Not remote and conveniently located to town.

Just stayed overnight in Cabin 10, such a peaceful serene location on the lake. Absolutely had a wonderful stay, the host is extremely friendly and accommodating. I sat out on the deck at night and a fun time stargazing. Waking up was also extremely pleasant as I slept so well. Definitely would return.

My family stays at Aalsmeer every year. It's like a second home to us. There's perfect lake access, rustic cabins, and kind people. 10/10 would recommend to anybody wanting to live their best life.

The cabins are functional, if a bit rustic. It's the sort of place that you go to be a bit outdoorsy but not quite camping outdoorsy. My family has been coming up here for ages, I'm not sure how to describe it for someone who has no clue about it.

We have been coming for years and love it here! Everyone is always friendly and there's plenty to do. You can dock your boat, jet skies, or other water equipment at their dock. There's a floating dock and a little beach by the water. The cabins are very bare bones so you need to bring most of your own stuff, which is part of the charm. In recent years there has been some wifi access but for the most part it's garbage and doesn't work at all. Overall it's a great place to stay and is a good escape from everyday life!

we stay at aalsmeer cottage #6 for the last week 6/4/2016 to 6/11/2016 it was the most wonderful vac we have had in a very long time. what they post on there web page about the cottage are right on the mark. the cottages are so comfortable. they are rustic but mordern. the fishing is so good. we catch more fish in one day then in a total week in black lake in new york. the couple who run the place are so warm and friendly. the cottages are private placed. i would highly recommand them to anyone. I only had one concern about certian people whom choose to let there dogs run with out a leash. my sister always had her dogs on a leash. so i would make sure you keep your dogs on leashes while you are there. i know it isn't the owner fault certian people don't follow the runs so i would make sure they tell everyone to keep there dogs on leashes. thank you for our wonderful stay. leona and jim morgan. erma todd.
