I wish I could give them 100 ??… Doreen and Willis were amazing, after a horrifying experience at the Village Motel in Ritchfield Springs my family and I needed a new place to stay. It was late at night and I had googled and The Lakeview Motel was the first option, I tried my luck at almost 10pm and Doreen answered and got in touch with Willis in the office to check for availability. Lucky for us, they had availability and we were able to check in. I could never thank these people enough for going so far above and beyond to help myself and my family. We had a cute cottage and an absolutely beautiful view. You will not be disappointed with your stay here !!

Enjoyed our stay very much. I would have given 5 stars but our room is a little outdated and had a musty smell. The room was very clean. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed the lake view very much and even Enjoyed swimming in the lake. We are coming back to Cooperstown next year and look forward to staying here again.

This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Cooperstown. We were greeted by a very friendly Manager upon check in. The room was as expected and it had a microwave and small fridge. The place was quiet and great views of Lake Ostego. It's about 5 minute drive to Cooperstown from here.

Positives: Location and view was amazing. Great value and clean. Friendly people! Provided fishing equipment. Negatives: Older, but nostalgic rooms. A/Cs could be a little better. No breakfast. Try to get a room that faces the lake for best experience. Also, they have regular motel rooms with no kitchen, and cottages with kitchen.

We had a wonderful experience. I came here for the marathon and everything that I wanted from the hotel, I got. Simple, not pretentious, clean rooms, beautiful view of the lake, and excellent customer service.

Great Motel! One BIG problem however. They used so much cleaning products, Febreze: or whatever it was, I was dizzy for the rest of the day. We even tried to air out the room to no avail, whatever they used has soaked through the room so much so it i was like we were inside the can of Febreze. If they would only use eco friendly products are are not toxic to humans!

We love this place!! We come up to Cooperstown every year and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The view of the lake is amazing.

Another visit, another cottage. This one on the main road. Probably would not take it during high season. A cool old 2 bedroom cottage. Photos included. A very nice view of the lake and just across the street to where you can swim. (This next part of the review is prior, been here a few times).Review from current visit at the end. We just spent 2 nights at the lake view in a deluxe room in the building up on the hill (photo and photo of the view toward the lake). We have been here before and the stay was not great. We had issues with the room. This time everything was great. There was no problem with the room and we enjoyed the stay. The staff was kind, friendly, and very helpful. The room was clean and it's location on the property was very good. My wife loves to swim and enjoyed getting in a super clean Otsego lake. Because we we on the hill, the walk down to the lake was a little bit. We were there to enjoy a production at Glimmerglass. We attend almost every year. Sometimes we do not stay overnight. But I prefer to stay 2 nights. We can also visit the Fenimore and take our time. We shall return but I think we will take a cottage next time. They seem very nice and they definitely have a lot of room. We also lucked out on the weather. Thanks again to the staff. We returned after the baseball hysteria ended for the year. It did not turn out the way I thought it would . I came for a little peace . One family, with many kids, can ruin it. I do understand that the baseball hall is nearby. I like it here, but!!!!

Everything about this place was good. The view of the lake from our room very beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Cooperstown area. We will stay here again if we ever back up their way

First time here but hopefully not the last. After driving thru hours of traffic all I wanted to do was to relax. The water and the view was great. While the room was old it was still really nice. Price was really good. The front desk clerk (sorry I forgot his name) was very patient as I asked my numerous questions. Thank you!!!
