The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cooperstown consistently receives positive reviews, highlighting cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and a friendly staff. Recent feedback emphasizes the quality of the breakfast, particularly the preparation skills of one employee, Amy, who is praised for her creative and delicious food offerings. However, concerns exist regarding the limited channel selection on the television and in one case, noise disruption.
Updated and clean rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet and clean hotel. Super cute pool and hot tub area. Lots of breakfast choices. Close to restaurants. We had a great stay!
Hotels overall was clean and quiet. Rooms in good repair. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Everything was excellent. If I could change anything, I would ask for firmer pillows. That's it. The room was very nice, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the dining area was really pretty.
IHG, read all the way to the end and read about the GEM you have here! This hotel is updated, clean and very friendly. I wasn't expecting that for the price we paid as it was much less expensive than the other hotels in town. We were greeted by a very friendly attendant and she took her time with us answering questions and providing brochures. She also updated the decaf coffee for us as it was later in the day. I usually have to bring an extra cushion for the bed to help my hips not hurt but the bed was so comfy I slept through the night without it; and I usually wake at least twice in the night. There is a lot of countertop that runs nearly 2/3 of the wall across from the bed. There is a desk/table on wheels under the countertop you use as a pull out for your computer. We not only used it for the computer but we rolled it across the room and set it right over the coffee table and used it as our dinner table while sitting on the sofa.... See pics. The large bathroom was very modern and clean as well The tv anchored on the wall was HUMONGOUS! We were able to hook our computer up to it and watch the movies from our computer. Some hotels dont allow that. NOW, SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST BEGAN WITH AMY! IHG,PAY ATTENTION TO THIS!! Amy could give lessons to the other breakfast preparers. We are early birds and went to breakfast 15 minutes early just to sit and have coffee. Amy greeted us and chatted with us while filling the steam table. She was super friendly and has a hearty laugh you just love. I decided to have IHG's famous cinnamon rolls with my coffee while waiting for breakfast. Amy knows how to prepare. (1) The rolls were warm but the lid was open so the cinnamon rolls dont get soggy. I have had cold ones before and soggy ones before. Not usually hot and not soggy. (2) The potato cubes were HOT and had Crispy outsides. I have frequently experiences lukewarm, not crispy and sometimes burnt potato cubes. Not here. (3) Amy thought OUTSIDE THE BOX and made ham/cheese souffle instead of egg-white omelets most hotel chains make. They fill you but dont please you. This was tasty and had a nice slightly crispy top. I went back for seconds! (4) Everything at the steam table including the pork sausage we had was hot!! I often find lukewarm foods at steam tables. Lukewarm isn't as palatable but also not as healthy. (5) The pancakes were fluffier/thicker and browner than many we have had in the past. I dont know if it is the settings or she has altered the recipe , but they were better than we have had before. She also made some pancakes up ahead of time and put them in the steam table for those who didn't want to wait in line to use the machine. IHG, you have a real GEM here. I hope you take this seriously and have her mentor other breakfast prepares and I believe you will get a stronger following, I would pay to come here and have breakfast. I will definitely come here again and again!
They show you get 99 channels, YOU DON'T. You get 9 the most. Sports, news only. The hotel is nice, but I spend time in the room and want what is advertised. The office came and said pretty much what I said, nope, not going to happen. Sorry, I will stay elsewhere if this doesn't change. Please update your tv, channels, it's 2025. Thank you .
I was there in 2023 for my Nephew’s Baseball game. This hotel I would absolutely recommend. Everything from the breakfast, room, pool and fitness center exceeded my expectations. Perfect place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel, nice staff. A few signs of age, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terrific, and there's a big grassy area with a small jungle gym in case your kids need to blow off some steam.
This holiday inn had everything you could ask for. The rooms were clean, the showers had the perfect amount of water pressure, and the pools were very relaxing. My only issue is that my whole family was waken up by some loud noice that played over and over for about an hour. You can hear it in the following video.
The hotel is situated 6 minutes from the Baseball of Fame located on Main Street. The 2 bedroom suite was clean and spacious. The elevator wasnt working. The breakfast was decent. The front desk people were friendly. The only con was the beds werent very comfortable.
We had a fantastic experience at the Holiday Inn Cooperstown! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and we were pleased to find our room spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The location is perfect—just a short drive from the Baseball Hall of Fame and close to restaurants, shops, and scenic spots around town. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere after a busy day exploring the area. The indoor pool and fitness center were clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety of options to start the day right. Everything about our stay felt easy and relaxed. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone visiting Cooperstown. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
